Smart IPTV (SIPTV) Setup: Upload Your Playlist by MAC Address

Setting it up, step by step

1. Decide whether Smart IPTV is the right player for your set

   Weigh this up before you begin. Smart IPTV earns its place on an older Samsung or LG that crawls under other apps, and on anyone content to do a one-off upload from a phone. If the telly is newer and you would sooner sign in on the screen itself, IPTV Smarters with an Xtream login is the shorter road and this is not the page for you. Still keen on the MAC-upload method, or does the set genuinely need the lighter app? Then read on.

2. Install the app and read off the MAC

   Search "Smart IPTV" in the Samsung or LG store and add it. Launch it a single time and note down the MAC address on screen, colons and all, because the next step happens on another device and you will need it precisely. It is a twelve-character code in the shape of six pairs; a photograph of the screen saves you copying it wrong. Reading that code is the only job the telly itself has here.

3. Register the playlist at siptv.app

   Move to a phone or laptop and open siptv.app/mylist. Enter the MAC address exactly as the telly showed it, drop your Orca4KTV M3U link into the URL field, tick "Keep online" so the list is not wiped later, and press Send. That single action ties this playlist to your particular set; nothing else on the website needs touching.

4. Restart the app to pull it down

   Back on the telly, close Smart IPTV all the way, not just to the background, then open it fresh. The channels and the guide now come down from the playlist you registered. Should it open empty, give it a minute and restart once more before you assume anything has gone wrong, because a first fetch across a full list is not instant.

5. Verify the picture, then deal with activation later

   Put on BBC One or ITV1 to confirm the picture and guide are working against the right time in GMT or BST, and mark your regular channels as favourites while you are there. Bear in mind Smart IPTV runs free for a seven-day trial; when that runs out it wants a small one-off activation for that individual set at siptv.app/activation. That charge is the developer's, wholly separate from your Orca4KTV subscription, and we have no hand in it.

If something will not play

The list uploads but the telly shows nothing

Give it a minute and restart the app before you call it a failure. Then double-check the MAC was entered perfectly, every colon in place, because a single stray character routes your playlist to a set that is not there. Remember as well that Smart IPTV holds just one playlist at a time, so a second upload against the same MAC quietly replaces the first rather than adding to it.

The channels play but the guide is empty

Smart IPTV wants the guide data tied to the playlist. Re-register the M3U at siptv.app/mylist with "Keep online" ticked, then restart the app. Where your build asks for the guide feed on its own, request the xmltv.php URL for your account from support and add it in the app's EPG settings; a refresh should then fill the schedule in.

The trial has ended and the app now wants payment

That prompt is the developer's one-off activation, not an Orca4KTV charge. If you would rather not pay it, IPTV Smarters on the very same telly carries no such fee and takes your Xtream login directly on screen. Either way your subscription stays exactly as it is; the only thing that changes is the app you watch through.

You changed the telly and the channels vanished

The playlist is bound to the MAC address, and a new set has a new MAC, so a replacement telly needs the M3U registering again at siptv.app/mylist against that new code. Your Orca4KTV account is untouched; it is only the app-to-MAC link that has to be redone. Note the new MAC first, then repeat the upload exactly as before.
