Before you start
- A Samsung Smart TV from the 2016 model year or newer, running Tizen
- A Samsung account signed in on the set
- Either your Orca4KTV Xtream login, or your M3U link if you go with Smart IPTV

Setting it up, step by step
Choose your player first, because it changes how you sign in
Settle this before anything else. IPTV Smarters is free and takes an Xtream login right there on the set, which is the shorter road. Smart IPTV is lighter on older Tizen hardware and stays quick where Smarters drags, but it signs in through a MAC-address upload on a website and asks a small one-off fee per set once the trial ends. On a 2016 or 2017 panel the lighter app usually wins; on anything newer, take whichever you fancy.
Get into the Samsung Apps store
A press of Home brings up the app bar; open Apps from there. The magnifying-glass search sits in the top corner of that screen. Note that this is Samsung's built-in store, not a web browser, and it is the only sanctioned source for these players on Tizen.
Install the one you chose
Direct route, install IPTV Smarters. Lighter route, install Smart IPTV. Both are listed plainly; put on whichever you settled on above and open it once so the set registers it.
Sign the account in
On Smarters, pick Login with Xtream Codes and key in the server address, username and password from WhatsApp. Smart IPTV throws you when you first meet it, because it has no login screen at all: jot down the MAC address it shows, then on a phone or laptop head to siptv.app/mylist and send your M3U link to that precise MAC.
Force a restart so it loads
Do not merely back out; close the player fully and open it fresh. The channel list and the guide arrive on this second launch. Once inside, the channel-list button on the Samsung remote is the fastest way to leap between groups.
Verify on a UK channel, then save favourites
Put on BBC One or ITV1, confirm the guide is showing tonight in GMT or BST, and start a sport feed to check the picture holds. Then flag the channels the household actually watches as favourites, so nobody scrolls the whole 25,000+ list every evening. A channel with sound but a black frame is a decoder issue, not a dead feed.
If something will not play
The player is missing from your Samsung store
Samsung stocks different apps in different countries, and now and then one drops out of a regional catalogue for a while. IPTV Smarters is the most widely carried, so reach for that first. If neither it nor Smart IPTV shows up for you, message support on WhatsApp and we will point you to a player that is live in your Samsung store right now, rather than sending you off after workarounds.
Smart IPTV flashes "playlist expired"
This concerns the app, never your subscription, and it frightens people needlessly. Reinstalling Smart IPTV or factory-resetting the set clears its stored playlist, so the entire fix is to upload the same M3U link once more at siptv.app/mylist against the same MAC address. Your Orca4KTV account is not touched at any point.
An older Samsung feels sluggish or the app keeps crashing
A 2016-vintage Samsung has modest internals, and the heavier Smarters interface can push them too hard. Move to Smart IPTV, built precisely to stay nimble on this kind of panel, and switch off any picture-processing modes the set is running. If the telly predates 2016 altogether, a Firestick in a spare HDMI port is the dependable answer.

Samsung Smart TV IPTV FAQ
Can I use IPTV on a Samsung TV without a Firestick?
You can. Every Samsung from 2016 onward runs IPTV Smarters or Smart IPTV from the built-in store, so the set is the only piece of kit involved and nothing plugs in. A stick earns its place only on a pre-2016 panel, or when you specifically want TiViMate, which Samsung does not stock and never will under Tizen.
Is Smart IPTV free on Samsung?
For a seven-day trial, yes; after that it asks a small one-time activation for that one set, paid to the app developer at siptv.app/activation. Smarters carries no such charge. Whichever you use, keep in mind the app is only an empty shell and shows nothing at all until an Orca4KTV subscription is entered behind it.
Will Orca4KTV play in 4K on a Samsung telly?
On a Samsung with a 4K panel and the muscle to decode it, yes, on the channels that carry a UHD feed. Panel and connection shape the result as much as we do, so a wired line on a newer set gives the most stable ultra-HD picture during a busy evening of sport.
