Setting it up, step by step
Decide the device, and whether Premium is worth it to you
Two calls up front. First, confirm your hardware is Android, because TiViMate exists nowhere else; on Apple, Samsung or LG you reach for IPTV Smarters instead. Second, weigh up Premium: the free version plays everything, and Premium only adds recording, multi-view and multiple playlists. Do you record sport, or watch two matches at once? Then it earns its small yearly fee. If not, the free version is ample, and Premium can be added at any point later.
Install TiViMate
Android TV and Google TV carry it in the Play Store; a Firestick needs it sideloaded through Downloader, exactly as the Firestick guide sets out. There is deliberately no Apple, Samsung or LG build, so do not waste time hunting one on those platforms; run IPTV Smarters on that hardware and save TiViMate for your Android device.
Add a playlist by Xtream login
Open TiViMate, choose Add playlist, then Xtream Codes login. Feed in the server URL, username and password from your WhatsApp message and press Next. There is no prompt for an M3U link here, and none is required, so leave that option well alone.
Name the playlist and load the channels
Give it a name you will recognise if you ever add a second account, then let the channels and guide download. TiViMate asks which categories to bring in; that choice can be changed later in settings, so pick roughly now and refine it once you can see the whole list in front of you.
Set up the guide and favourites
Under Settings and then TV guide, set how often it refreshes to twice a day. The guide data travels within the Xtream login itself, which means, unlike certain other players, there is no standalone EPG address to enter anywhere. After that, flag your regular UK and Irish channels as favourites so the grid opens straight onto what the household watches.
Optional: activate Premium the right way
Here is the bit that catches almost everyone out: you buy Premium not inside TiViMate on the telly, but through its standalone Companion app on a phone. It costs roughly $8 per year, or a single lifetime licence in the region of $30, and comes with a seven-day trial; it unlocks recording, multi-view and multiple playlists. Install Companion on your phone, purchase there, and TiViMate on the telly picks the licence up automatically.
Verify on a live UK channel
Open BBC One or RTE One and confirm the grid guide shows tonight correctly in GMT or BST, then play a Sky Sports or TNT Sports feed to check steady playback. Scroll the guide while it keeps playing, to prove the very thing you came to TiViMate for actually works. A clean run here means the job is done.
If something will not play
TiViMate says "playlist could not be loaded"
First, make sure the server address still has its port on it, and that the subscription has not lapsed. After that, key the password in by hand instead of pasting it, because text copied out of a chat often drags an invisible space with it that TiViMate then treats as part of the password. Entering it manually once settles this for good.
The guide shows "no information"
Trigger Update now from Settings, then TV guide, and give the app a restart afterwards. On a list this size the very first load can simply need longer than people allow, so leave it a few minutes once you have refreshed. If it stays blank, sign the playlist out and back in to pull the guide source down again.
Premium features stay greyed out after paying
You have bought Premium in the Companion app but TiViMate on the telly has not synced it yet. Check Companion is signed in to the same Google account as the telly, then reopen TiViMate and the licence usually appears within a minute. If it still will not show, restart the telly once, which forces the check to run again.
Recordings fail or stop partway through
Recording is a Premium feature, so confirm the licence is active first. Then check where the recordings are being written: internal storage on a Firestick fills fast, so point TiViMate at a USB drive under the recording settings. A recording that halts mid-match is nearly always the storage running out rather than the stream dropping.

TiViMate IPTV FAQ
How much does TiViMate Premium cost?
Reckon on roughly $8 per year, or a single lifetime licence in the region of $30, which varies a little by territory. The detail that trips people is where the purchase happens: inside the TiViMate Companion phone app, never on the telly itself. A seven-day trial comes with it, so you can judge whether recording and multi-view earn their keep before you spend a penny.
Does Orca4KTV work with TiViMate?
Yes, and with nothing special required. Every Orca4KTV account is issued in the standard Xtream Codes form, precisely what TiViMate is built to read, so its guide, catch-up and on-demand sections fill in on their own. Set it up through Add playlist and then Xtream Codes login, entering the three values from your activation message.
Why can I not find TiViMate on my Samsung or Apple TV?
Because it is not there to find. TiViMate is Android-only, so it lives on Android tellies, Firesticks and Android boxes and nowhere else. Any similarly named listing on Samsung, LG or Apple is a different app entirely. To run TiViMate on one of those sets, plug a Firestick or an Android box into a spare HDMI port and use it from there.
Can TiViMate record live sport?
It can, once Premium is active: you can set a recording from the guide the same way you would on a Sky box, and multi-view lets you keep two matches on screen at once. Recordings save to the device, so a Firestick with little free space benefits from a plugged-in USB drive. On the free version, recording and multi-view are locked, but live playback is not.
