Most likely causes
- No EPG (XMLTV) source has been added to the playlist in OTT Navigator, so the guide grid has nothing to display.
- The playlist was loaded as a plain M3U link with no separate EPG URL attached, so guide data never arrived.
- The time zone or time-shift setting is wrong, so the guide loads but every programme is pushed a few hours out and the current slot looks empty.
- The XMLTV file is large and is still downloading, or the last update timed out on a slow connection.
- Some channels are not mapped to their guide IDs, so those rows stay blank while the rest of the guide fills in.
Fixes, in the order to try them
Open the playlist settings in OTT Navigator and look for the EPG or XMLTV field. Open the menu, go to Playlists, select your Orca4KTV playlist and check whether an EPG source is listed. If the field is empty, that is almost certainly the cause; paste the XMLTV (EPG) link that came with your Orca4KTV details, save, and let the app reload.
If you signed in with an Xtream Codes login rather than a plain M3U link, the guide is often carried with the channels automatically. If it is not filling in, remove the playlist and add it again as an Xtream Codes login so both feeds are pulled together.
Set the correct time zone. In the EPG or general settings look for a time-shift, GMT offset or time-zone option and match it to your own region. A guide that is one or more hours out often reads as empty for the programme that should be on now, even though the data is there.
Force a guide refresh. Use the app option to update or reload the EPG, then wait one to three minutes on the guide screen without switching away. Large multi-day XMLTV files can take a moment over Wi-Fi, and leaving the screen mid-download can cancel the request.
Check the channel-to-guide mapping. If most channels show listings but a handful stay blank, those channels are not matched to a guide ID. OTT Navigator matches many automatically; for the rest you can usually set or correct the EPG ID per channel, or ask our desk which guide ID belongs to that channel.
Reload the whole playlist. Remove the current playlist or profile and add it again from your Orca4KTV link so the channels and the EPG URL are both fetched fresh, which clears a stale or half-downloaded guide.
If the grid is still blank, close OTT Navigator fully, restart the device, and reopen the app so it starts a clean guide download from scratch.

OTT Navigator EPG not working FAQ
Why do my channels play but the guide is empty?
Live playback and the programme guide are two separate feeds. Channels come from the playlist; the guide needs its own EPG (XMLTV) source. If only the guide is blank, the playlist is fine and the EPG source is missing, still downloading, or pushed off-screen by a wrong time zone.
Where do I get the XMLTV or EPG link for OTT Navigator?
It is issued with your Orca4KTV login details alongside the playlist link. If you only have the M3U link, message our support desk on WhatsApp and we will send the matching XMLTV URL to paste into the app.
The guide is a few hours off rather than empty. What now?
That is a time-zone mismatch and not missing data. Set the correct time-shift or GMT offset in the OTT Navigator EPG settings, or correct the time zone on the device itself, then reload the guide.
How long should the guide take to appear?
Usually under a minute, but a large multi-day XMLTV file over Wi-Fi can take two to three minutes on first load. Stay on the guide screen while it downloads rather than switching away, which can cancel the request.
